Fertility, Pregnancy and Post Partum Support
My personal journey to motherhood has taken me through various Assisted Reproductive Technologies including intrauterine inseminations (IUI) and In-Vitro fertilization (IVF), This has allowed me unique insight into the emotional, mental, physical, relational, and social challenges that infertility can create in one’s life. I know first hand that it isn’t easy. I have a personal perspective both from myself as patient as well as many close friends who have been on their own difficult journey to parenthood and I focus on the individual needs of the infertility patient. Psychological impact surveys have shown women with infertility experience anxiety and depression similar to those diagnosed with cancer and other major illnesses. I offer supportive infertility counseling services to help men and women and their partners process and cope with the stress of infertility. My other area of interest is helping those experiencing difficult pregnancies and post partum related issues.
I am able to provide Zoom online video sessions in addition to office visits. Phone consultations are available between sessions if needed.
